Vintage 1940s men's fleece sportswear pants by Champion Knitwear. Distressed and sold as is, see notes below. The waistband is stretched out but it cinches slightly with a drawstring, and can be worn with the waistband turned down once for a slightly more secure fit. The elastic on the inside of the waist could also be replaced.

Condition: Distressed, with light general wear, heavy pilling to the knit, minor yellowing and some shrinkage to the striped trim and yellowing to the elastic and drawstring inside the waist, the elastic in the leg cuffs is mostly stretched out, and the elastic in the waist is completely stretched out and there is a 3" section on the back of waist where the elastic is missing and the fleece has torn (see close up photo - the edges of the fleece there are slightly hardened as though burned).
